Learning how to upload or publish your web site using FTP
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) programs or FTP clients as geeks refer to them, are programs designed to transfer multiple files from your computer to a web server using the Internet. In this tutorial, we'll be using an FTP program called CoreFTP. If you have not done so already, please click on the link below to download and install CoreFTP. Most all FTP programs work pretty much the same so if you already have another FTP program installed, then simply skip to the tutorial below.
Download CoreFTP from Download.com
Now that you've downloaded and installed CoreFTP, you're ready to start uploading or publishing all the web pages and graphics which make up your web site. This tutorial assumes the following:
You already have your domain name registered.
You have signed up for a web hosting account.
You have your Advanced Hosting Confirmation email handy.
You have already designed your web site and have it stored on your computer.
